Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) has launched its Exercise Right at Home campaign to encourage those who are self-isolated due to the response of COVID-19, to keep active and ensure exercise is done safely. Exercise Right at Home provides a range of free workout videos that have been created by ESSA accredited exercise professionals, the experts of exercise. The workout videos offer a variety of programs such as strength training, aerobic activities and falls prevention exercises that can be completed right in your home. Why not have a look at Find Your 30 which is about practical ways in which anyone can work half an hour of activity into their day. If you’re isolating inside you can choose individuals, indoors, with no equipment for a quick workout. Find out how you can Find Your 30
Adults aged 18-64 should accumulate 2.5 to 5 hours of moderate intensity physical activity or 1.25 to 2.5 hours of vigorous activity each week.
Children should accumulate at least 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous intensity physical activity every day.
