CWMS: Emergency Response Plans
During an emergency situation, there is the possibility our community wastewater management system, or CWMS for short, could be compromised. However, the following plans are in store to protect us if a disaster were ever to happen and vital power sources such as electricity were suddenly disconnected.
Note: these plans only looks at the preservation of CWMS during an emergency. If you'd like information on the Safer Places campaign, which shows places to evacuate to during an emergency, then head to the CFS website.
The plans are for each of our five wastewater plants in Balaklava, Port Wakefield, Blyth, Snowtown and Hamley Bridge. These are downloadable documents, but if you require more information, please contact the Council Office.
