COVID-19 - community health and safety our key concern

Wakefield Regional Council has a responsibility to support and protect our community and staff. We would like to assure you we are working to review our business continuity plans to ensure the continuation of core council services to the community in the event that the Wakefield area is impacted by COVID-19.As with other Councils, we are following the expert advice in relation to COVID-19.

The Local Government Association (LGA) has set up a small working group involving councils, SA Health and the LGA Workers Compensation Scheme to determine a coordinated and collaborative approach should the situation with COVID-19 continue to escalate.
