Have your say on Council’s Draft Infrastructure Asset Management Plan Review for Buildings and Structures/Site Improvements
Council has been undertaking a review of all our Infrastructure Asset Management Plans (IAMP).
Our draft Infrastructure Asset Management Plan for Buildings and Structures/Site Improvements is the final plan up for review.
The purpose of the Asset Management Plan is to provide clear strategies in relation to the maintenance, renewal, upgrade and disposal of Council-owned buildings and structures.
The current IAMP for Buildings and Structures/Site Improvements was adopted on 28 April, 2021.
This was a substantial improvement on the previous plan, with extensive inspections identifying 220 parcels of council-owned land, buildings and structures at approximately 87 different locations.
Key strategies have been established within the Draft Asset Management Plan for Council’s buildings and structures including.
Strategy 1 – Asset Review and Disposal Program
Strategy 2 – Manage community facility leases and licenses
Strategy 3 - Building and structure inspection program
Strategy 4 - Accessibility of the built environment
Strategy 5 - Address building and structure backlog
Each of these strategies are expanded upon within the plan, alongside how each strategy will be implemented or reviewed.
