Council survey targets youth within Wakefield

Published 26th May 2022

WAKEFIELD Regional Council is seeking feedback from the region’s under 25s in our 2022 Youth Survey which will help shape the future of Council’s youth program.

Council has created the survey to help identify the needs of under 25s within our community – it will help shape a future strategy to support and encourage young people to stay and flourish within Wakefield.

Council’s Community Development Coordinator Holly Hannaford said the survey was created to encourage under 25s to voice their needs, with the survey creating a direct line between Council and the under 25s within Wakefield.

“This survey will help Council gain a better understanding of what our under 25s are searching for within Wakefield – whether it’s better sporting facilities or more activities like our Wakefield: Game on event – we want to hear all their needs and ideas, so we can help shape their future within Wakefield,” Ms Hannaford said.

The survey consists of 25 questions and takes less than five minutes to complete and will be open to the public over the next four weeks.

Surveys will be distributed to schools and youth groups within Wakefield or you can complete the survey online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/3DGBZYB printed copies can also be collected from the Balaklava Council Chamber.
